Dr. Britt Brockman is managing partner of John-Kenyon American Eye Institute and chairman of the board of trustees at UK.

As a student at the University of Kentucky, Dr. E. Britt Brockman took to heart a lesson he heard from former UK president Otis Singletary.

"He told me that there are more books in the library than you could read in a lifetime, meaning you can get whatever you want out of the university experience,” Brockman said.

So Brockman threw himself into college life, becoming student body president and befriending another university administrator who would help steer Brockman to his current career as managing partner of John-Kenyon American Eye Institute PSC, one of Louisville’s largest ophthalmology practices.
