Brockman honored by Business First

Louisville eye surgeon Dr. E. Britt Brockman, managing partner of John-Kenyon American Eye Institure, has been names one of the most influencial health-care leaders in the region by Business First of Louisville for the second consecutive year.

A graduate of LaRueCountyHigh School, Brockman received the award last week as part of Business First’s fourth annual “Partners in Health Care” program and publication. Honorees were selected from leaders in area hospitals and educational institutes, professional firms with a focus on health care business, physicians groups and leaders of firms that provide ancillary health care services.

Brockman is a cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery specialist.

Brockman earned degrees from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Brockman interned at UofL , followed by a four-year residency at Louisiana State University, serving as chief resident his final two years.
