I had cataract surgery done on both eyes in September and October of 2009. A
friend took me to Dr. Stallard's Vision First Office in Frankfort and a
shuttle bus picked me up and took me to the John Kenyon Eye Clinic. The
whole thing was very easy and the staff at the eye center are very competent
and efficient. The whole process takes no time at all and I never
experienced any discomfort, pain or inconvenience. Now that I have implants
I can see better than I have ever been able to see in my whole life. Once
the cataracts are removed,the whole world lights up and things look brighter
and more intense in color. I no longer wear contacts or glasses. If I am
going to spend along time reading a book, I wear a pair of reading glasses
with a 1.25power purchased at the drug store or grocery. Before the surgery
I did not drive at night, now I can go anywhere I like and never give it
a thought. This is a life changing surgery that one should not put
off having. Dr. Brockman performed my surgery and I had no
problems whatsoever and still am very happy every day that I no longer
need contacts or glasses.
