LARRY J. ALEXANDER, O.D.
Larry Alexander, O.D., graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry, served in the U.S. Navy and spent many years on the faculty of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where he taught ocular disease, participated in private practice, served as chief of ocular disease service and performed clinical research.
Dr. Alexander continues to contribute to optometric literature and also lectures, and his book Primary Care of the Posterior Segment serves as the ocular disease textbook in the majority of schools of optometry in the United States, Canada and English-speaking countries throughout the world. |
