The John-Kenyon American Eye Institute provides complete, state-of-the-art treatment of retinal disorders such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. In order to assist with diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans, our offices are equipped with advanced technology, including digital angiography, optical coherence tomography, and both standardized a and b-scan echography. Our retinal specialist, Dr. Lazarus is actively involved in clinical research and provides the most current treatments available for retinal disease. He was the first surgeon to perform 25 gauge-sutureless vitrectomy surgery in the Kentuckiana region. Currently, he is the only specialist using the new technologically advanced PASCAL laser for treatment of diabetic retinopathy and other retinal disorders. Our long-term commitment is to make certain the best and most current treatments are available to our patients. |
