Walter “Walt” Williams IV, O.D., joined John-Kenyon Eye Center as a resident optometrist to pursue his post-doctoral training in the area of ocular disease. Originally from Toledo, OH, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University in Biology. After graduating from BGSU, he attended Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2024. He is currently licensed in both the states of Indiana and Kentucky.
During his time at IUSO he severed as an Associate Instructor, Indiana’s chapter treasurer of the National Optometric Student Association, and participated in an eyecare humanitarian trip to Jamaica. During his final year, he completed rotations at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Cincinnati VA Medical Center, Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Louisville, and Atwater Eyecare Center in Bloomington, IN.
In his free time, Dr. Williams enjoys traveling, exercising, being outdoors, participating in recreational sports, and cheering on his favorite sports teams; the New York Yankees and the Michigan Wolverines. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
